Start with the crosshair settings inside the Roblox experience you play. If you want an extra aiming reference, try a small dot, then check that it lines up with the game's aim. Roblox experiences can use different cameras and controls, so a setup that feels right in one may need changing in another.
Where do you change a Roblox crosshair?
Open the experience's own settings and look for options named crosshair, reticle, aiming, or HUD. If it offers a crosshair editor, try that first: its aiming mark can be designed around that experience's weapons and camera.
The general Roblox settings menu handles controls such as camera mode. Roblox's in-experience settings guide explains Classic, Follow, and Shift Lock, and notes that creators can lock the camera mode. Those camera controls are different from a crosshair editor.
A fixed overlay works best as a reference when you aim around the center of the screen. If an experience aims at a freely moving mouse pointer, a center-screen dot will not follow that pointer. Check this before spending time tuning its appearance.
Suggested Roblox crosshair settings
Keep your first setup simple. A small mark is easier to compare with the game's own aiming point, and it leaves more room to see characters and objects behind it.

These are starting points for an overlay, not a Roblox crosshair import code. Size also looks different on a high-resolution display or when you sit farther from the monitor. Judge the visible mark on your own screen.
A useful color should stand out from both scenery and interface elements. If the experience already uses cyan for markers or teammates, a magenta dot may be easier to distinguish. Keep the size the same while comparing colors.
How to check your Roblox overlay setup
- Open ChrossX on Windows and choose your starting dot, size, and color.
- Join the experience on the same monitor. Use a practice area if one is available.
- Keep the experience's own aiming mark visible and compare its position with the overlay.
- Move the camera and character separately. Check whether the game aims at the screen center, the pointer, or another position.
- Switch between the views you actually use. If the overlay no longer matches, use the experience's own aiming mark for that view.
When a crosshair seems off-center, distinguish two problems: the overlay may be on the wrong display or resolution, or the game may be aiming somewhere other than the center. Making the dot bigger does not fix either one.
Shift Lock changes camera control where the experience supports it. It does not make every game use identical aiming behavior, and an overlay cannot enable a camera mode that the creator has disabled.

Why can't I find a crosshair setting?
Look in the experience's own menu, not just the general Roblox settings. If the creator does not provide a crosshair option, there may be nothing to adjust there.
Can I use the same crosshair in every Roblox shooter?
You can keep a familiar appearance, but recheck the camera alignment, visibility, and rules each time you change experiences.
Will a crosshair make my shots follow another player?
No. A fixed overlay is a visual reference. It does not move your mouse, track players, or change a weapon's behavior.
